I absolutey love taking classes online!

Taking classes online is so convenient, enjoyable and relaxing compared to physically attending school. The only thing I miss about attending school is meeting new people and forming new friendships. It is not easy, at least for me, to get to know someone on the Internet as it seems so impersonal. I find it hard to convey my sense of humor and emotions clearly while online. I am not a very fast typist so, I get impatient and it seems like a chore to type my feelings verses actually speaking them to someone. Posting profiles with pictures works for me to get to know people better as it is nice to associate a name with a face.

Hi everyone ,

I am not sure what to discuss since we were not given a topic. I have never blogged before and I am not really sure what it is all about? I am so happy to be taking online courses at Kaplan as I got so tired of the commute back and forth to school which is 50 miles one way. It is so relaxing and less stressful to drink my coffee and wear my pajamas while attending class, so cool! I appreciate it especially, when it is either storming or snowing outside and I do not have to brave the elements. Please feel free to blog me and send pictures, I think it is nice to be able to associate a name with a face. I look forward to hearing from everyone!
